This Confession was first printed in London for Benjamin Harris, ‘to be sold at his shop at the Stationers Arms in Sweetings Rents, in Cornhill, near the Royal Exchange, 1677.’ Only minor alterations to spelling, punctuation and proof texts have been made by the editors of this Pocket Puritan gift edition.

By God’s kindness I came to know the doctrines of Grace from outside a reformed setting, but as so many others like me are now coming to know the historical reformed faith these historic confessions are such an amazing blessing for our generation and generations to come.
This particular edition of the 1689 is one of the few books that I take everywhere with me. It’s incredibly well-made and the format of the pages is well broken down and I absolutely love the verse references at the bottom of each paragraph. If you’re young or old and you haven’t yet discovered these precious confessions I wholeheartedly encourage you to purchase them and be blessed by the work of Brothers in the faith who labored for the glory of Christ and his church’s up-building in the Faith once delivered to the Saints.
